OK....so yeah...we have a limit. We do live on the farm, but do not want to be animal poor. Two cats inside, 6 cats outside, and two dogs are our limit. Yesterday the invisible vacancy light went out as we reached full capacity. Mana brought us a kitten. A "s-p-e-c-i-a-l" kitten. When she called she said she wanted to name it Martin for Tori going off to college at UT Martin. Ok, no prob. It was sick and she was worried cause it had infected eyes. No prob, I've dealt with that. Bring it on.
So Grant and Mana bring the kitten by, I stick it in the tub, turn it over and look at it good. I say, it doesn't have an infected eye...it's missing an eye. Mana says no way, so I show her, and she gagged. Mana feels bad and insists on taking care of the Vet bill, which I say no to, but she gets the girls to agree to tell her how much it was. So the girls and I are on the road to the vet when the kitten decides to go for a climb. Ele has a screaming, hyperventilating meltdown. Now, we all know she loves animals and was mother hen to Quito, but the one eyed straggly kitty FREAKED her out. I almost had to use my inhaler I was trying not to laugh so hard. We found out that once the infection clears we can have the missing eye sewn up. So now we have a 5 week old kitten, who is a girl, named Martin, missing an eye. Yeah we attract all kind of strays....but through them (including counting Robert) God has blessed us! haha!

God Bless!
