Well...the last blog of 2007...wow. First yesterday....I ended up chasing Atlas "the ding-dong dog" down the road in the car. Caught him got his leash on him, and drove in the rain with him trotting, not running, beside of the car...yeah I am a proud redneck! Today...I am wearing a pony-tail. YEAH!!! That has been my goal for a long time, and now I finally can. Wow! God is great. Now for all the yesterday's and tomorrow's. My prayer for you is to accept your yesterdays, not regret them, and don't worry about your tomorrows....you can't do anything about them. Enjoy today!!!!! Live in today!!! God will handle the rest. Allow yourself to grieve, to feel the pain...but then you suck it up and get over it. Don't wallow in it. That is the next part of it. When someone goes to heaven we automatically want to pray for them. There is no need. We are supposed to pray for the family left behind. We know that those who have passed away are better off, and that the ones here on earth are those who really need the help. Sometimes it's hard when the ones who passed away are the ones we cared for, and have less respect for those who are left. That is when we need to remember that God wants us to pray for them the most in any situation, but especially when they are the ones left behind. You cannot live peoples lives for them. You can not pick them up and make them do what is right. They have to come to their own realization of the Glory of God....and we can only pray for them. God Bless!

Sleepy day today. I got sleep last night, but have a hard time waking up today. Ever think Life is like that? You just have a hard time waking up and opening your eyes to see? I think so. Have a great day yall! God Bless!

At church I am called a miracle. Miracles are seen more this time of year. Is it that there are more or just that our eyes are open to be able to see them? There are miracle's in your lives that you may overlook, but if you open your eyes they become clear. A miracle....yeah I am blessed. My miracle is obvious. Obvious to those who know me. But is it to those who may not? I want that to be my goal everyday. Open your eyes....you can see the glory of God too. God Bless!

Folks...dress warm and cozy today. It is rainy and gonna be cold. Turn on your heaters cozy up and say "this is nice". We have a tendency to let the weather dictate our moods. Well, last Friday I had my 6 mo checkup and test results. The scar tissue continues to get smaller. I can now go to only getting a scan 1 a year, I'll still have to have a checkup 2 a year, for the rest of my life, but that's great. Everything looked good. My anti-fungal is still low, but should pick up sometime, and my Iron was a little low, but I can take supplements. She said that since we are almost at the 2 year mark we only have to deal with the high-dose chemo side affects, and not cancer. As Uncle Jerry said, "That is the God we serve!" God Bless!

Well, Sunday at Practice for our christmas program...Eme, yet again made us all laugh. All the kids and parents we're practicing for next Sunday. Eme has about 4 one-liners. She said one line without the microphone, but when the time came for her second line, Jess had the mic setup. Eme was already embarrassed to be up in front of everone. Eme was SUPPOSED to say, "Jesus brings out the peace in me." Well, needless to say we all laughed and she was embarrassed again when she said, "Jesus wants a piece of me!"...she's right yall...from the mouth of babe's. Have a great day! God Bless!

Well, I did it again. I am on a trip in Toledo. Now keep in mind our car the beloved "Gooody" has automatic lights....can you see where this is going. I had to work late last night, and was trying to hurry in the building, I was under a very bright light, and where I parked, there was a lot of ice. Well while trying to hurr so "nobody would get me" I stumbled out of the car sliding on the ice and made it in the building (after trying another door that the key swipe was broke on). I was happy to be in my room...finally. This morning, I was leaving late, having tried to catch up on sleep, and hurried (again) to the car. The car was dead. Yes...I had forgot to turn off the lights in my adventure. Now the comedy is just beginning...the car, which was the lowest model car I have ever had...A little Kia with 17,500 miles scratches, and a dimesize chip in the windshield...they had nothing else! A friend came and gave me a ride to work. Well I called to get them

Well it's getting colder again. Parts of the country are getting snow. Isn't it beautiful Gods white blanket across the land. Dangerous for some (like us who usually get ice too). But beautiful none the less. If you look around you, you can see God's beauty. Stop and look, sometimes it takes effort, and praise God today. Yall have a great one! God Bless!

We all judge. We shouldn't but we do. We think someone is a certain way, when maybe they're not. Maybe they're putting on a show trying to fit in. If we gave it a chance we might find that they are a nice person, just trying to be someone they're not. Have you gave someone the benefit of the doubt? Have you gave someone a chance?
