Last week I had my teeth whitened. Needless to say I reacted differently (imagint that) and my lips ended up swelling and are now peeling. So, I had my teeth worked on....okay. That night I was holding Angel Soft right before Supper starting and I put her paws together to have her say the blessing and the girls thought it was funny. Last night Ele was talking about Angel Soft and said, "Momma make her pray. Member when you got your lips done, and you made her pray?" I thought Daddy and I were going to die laughing! Pray today! We have had a good weekend. Because of the rain today we didn't stress much, laid back some, and had a good day. I grilled out and we had a good supper...not a lot more to say other than... Everybody tell Barbara Happy 35th Birthday! and please remember those traveling, and continue to remember Joe and Linda in your prayers. We can see miracles all around us if we really look. Yesterday was the girls last day of school. Ele won a lot of awards. We are very proud of her. They all went to Momma and Daddy's and played after. Robert got home from his trip, and we all had a good supper. Isn't it good to be with those you care about? I got to where in a former life I had grown to dislike the word opportunity. It was used so often and so snidely it raked your nerves....all problems in life were opportunities. Had I been given a chance for someone to have used this in a positive way, and not negatively....I think my view might have been different. (Someone of you know all to well what I mean). I found this quote and it got me to thinking...a way to turn something negative is to look for that very thing instead of having it pressed upon you all the time. Do you think that in our own lives if we take the very thing we dislike and find a way to like it we can overcome it? Do you think you can leave your past there? Please continue to pray for Linda and Joe today. Linda and her family needs our daily prayers. facing the unknown is much easier to do if you feel the love and support all around you. We have talked before about the power of prayer. Miracles do happen. Please PRAY today that God's loving grace and healing go out to a very special lady. Linda is a friend of our extended family and has gotten a very scary diagnosis this past week. Being afraid is ok, but then take a deep breath (sometimes after hours of crying), and say OK God I am in your hands, now what can I do? PRAY, PRAY, PRAY...then fight like hell! Don't let others (Dr's, nurses, etc.) lead ourlives....God gave our body to us to take care of, and no one should make us feel bad about that (that goes for more than just sickness!) Sometimes in our lives it is easy to think that we have more than we can bear, but God know's different. Positivity and Faith are key to our lives, not just to healing. We have a new member to the family. Last Thursday a little 3 week old kitten was left on our steps. April has adopted it. Since we seem to have a theme going with our cats (Charmin, Cottonelle, White Cloud) We named it Angel Soft. She is a good kitten, but April had to take her yesterday for a bowel obstruction. She had an enema, and now we know why Momma kitten gave her up....she didn't want that exploding on her! Yall have a great day! Keep your head up, smile....we do have so much to be thankful for! I had a great Mother's Day. I have to write yall the stuff Ele wrote at school...the 1st was a paper where they filled in the blanks.... My mother is a cancer survivor . She is awesome! She likes her family . She looks like a pretty woman. She sounds like me. She smells like roses. She always is polite . My mother is a cool person. I thought that was so cute! Then I pulled out a laminated colored piece of paper that was a card that was titled, "Just for Mom!" In the middle of it was...."You feel like Pepper's fur. You sound like tweeting chicks singing a love song." I love it! God Bless!

The field trip went well and we all had fun. Eme graduated last night from pre-school! She was so big! She said what she wanted to be when she grew up....a Momma! Eme made us very proud, and of course I cried. Please pray today for a friend and her family. Her Grandmother needs a healing touch. And, no I didn't forget! Happy Mother's Day to all the Momma's, Aunt's, Grandmother's, and those special ladies in our lives who are always there for us! God Bless!

We've been under the weather, and I forgot to blog! Can you believe it?! I was sent this in an email, and really do wonder where she gets the stuff, but I love it... Faith will get you there. Yesterday Eme was playing with Pepper and his cloth bone. Daddy said that she had him swinging around in a circle about 6 in off the floor with the bone in his mouth, and her holding the other end, laughing and said, "Look Da! He's flying!" Yesterday was National Day of Prayer. Last night at supper before we said the blessing I asked the girls if they knew what that meant. Ele says, "Oh Momma, that means you're supposed to pray VERY S-L-O-W-L-Y." I then explained what it really meant. Then I said a silent prayer for her! Try praying very slowly today! Actually just take it slow this weekend...we all live our lives way too fast! God Bless!

You know what is right and wrong. If you don't ask for God's help and he will lead the way. You may need to keep praying until the right time for God to help you. It may not be when you think is right, but God knows. He knows so that you will get greater rewards, and the best answer of all. Sometimes we pray about something, and think that it is the right thing, do it, then people don't understand, but will later why you did it. If you pray about it, and the answer is truly from God, you are doing what is right in Faith, and you should not let the devil cast doubts on that. I found this quote and liked it...."
