GROW

We are given our lives as seeds.  We can help them grow.  Prune them to much. Stunt them for a while.  Allow a neighborhood dog pee on them.  Have people tend them.  Care for them, show grace and love.  Some have a better touch at it than others, and sometimes our lives grow into beautiful flowers and fruit.  Water them with the wornderful Word of God.  How wonderful for our lives to become a blessing of beauty for others.  Be a wonderful scent for ourselves, something to be proud of....like Sara Walker.  A beautiful blessing to so many.  We were so blessed to have you on earth, through your words you have helped me to heal. Thank you more than you will ever know. You won the battle.  Gods grace of comfort to your family and friends, for their rays of sunshine may have dimmed today, but your legacy will keep them warm and shine forever.

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
