Is disappointed the right word?
I’m not sure it’s strong enough to express the sentiment of the cancer community after reviewing President Obama’s budget.
He wants to cut funding for cancer research. He wants to cut funding for prevention.
While I might be at a loss for words, I know clearly what must be done. We must get ready to act.
With this being an election year, the budget process will be a long one. That means ACS CAN will need to run a sustained campaign to keep up the pressure on the President and Congress to make cancer a national priority.
