Proud

You have been there for me since birth.  Your eyes a little brighter, your height almost the same, your heart bigger than mine, and your title will forever remain my big brother.  Today we are so proud that you have achieved a dream.  A dream of yours for so long, a dream you never gave up on, a dream that is no longer just a dream, but a reality.  Today as u walk across the front of the room you become a Sheriff's Deputy.
Today everybody will call you with the respect you long deserve.  Today they will see you as the large man you have always been to me.
May God continue to protect you and the new brotherhood you officially become.   God has Blessed us so much!  I pray for peace and protection, and also that they remember the girls are yours whenever they get in trouble!

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
