schooled by a 5th grader

So Tori came over last night to pick up pickles for them and her chair we picked up for college. Hard to believe that we take her to college in 2 weeks! The oldest Godchild off to college! eeek! Well we talked for quite a while and she was saying how someone thought she looked like Selina Gomez. We said that Robert and I thought she was sooo much like her character on Wizard's. She said no I'm not she's mean! We told her that it wasn't that it was that she was sure of herself. Then Ele pops up and says, "Yeah and she never had a job either!" We rolled! I told Tori, "You just got schooled!" Please pray for those who are going off to college and all the unspoken prayers on the heavy hearts. Glory to God!

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
