Please say a prayer for Frank, a family friend who was just diagnosed. Also please pray for Terry, my big Bub. He is in the hospital and has to have surgery tomorrow on his hand. We know those prayers work, so Bring Em On!
Sorry folks! Been workin double time. No excuse for droppin off, but self preservation is sometimes ok...a littlt bit. Please pray for all of those with unspoken requests. So much hurting around us right now. We have to keep the focus on God and his Glory. A great many people fall down, get back up, and then stumble along because of the fear or damage of the fall. Remember that you do not need to focus on the scars you carry, but on the road ahead....also, smile. Even though the trip may have hurt deeply, it was a journey that gets you to a better place. God Blesses!
Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything. To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why? Mainly because we lose our confidence. Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things. Remember the verse: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13. We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve. The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone. Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us. If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.
