warped

My parents have warped my children. Period. Yep…..Momma and the girls were in the front of the pharmacy with huge windows (I know cause I used to have to clean them), and Daddy was inside. Eme is getting impatient and is pointing at her imaginary watch, throwing her hands up in the air, and mouthing "What's taking so long?" at Daddy. Momma was thinking she was entertaining the girls and keeping them busy by trying to teach them to people watch. She starts talking about a man who had white hair and a long beard, evidently describing him very well, when Ele pipes up and says, "Gege is checking him out!". What can you do? I can't say much cause I know it could always be worse…..just wait…I'll blog on it someday.

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
