Eventful

Well we had an eventful night to say the least. Started off when we were leaving the house to go to basketball practice. Eme was looking at the calves in our field and she said, "Aww…look they're butt heading!" Next came Eme trying to pass the ball to one of her coaches and hitting him up side the head with it. Next came Robert, Ele, and Lex walking around on the track at the top of the gym…the story I got was that Ele had punched Lex in the stomach and when Lex went to call Ele a Loser Ele stumbled and Lex accidently kicked Ele in the Jaw. Robert says he saw the whole thing and it really was an accident. Needless to say I ended up holding Ele with a spiderman icepack applied to her chin. What mother doesn't carry icepacks, bandaids, ponytail holders, wipes, tissues, Gatorade, water, and deodorant for her accident prone drama queen tendency children? It is nasty looking this morning by the way, so she was not drama queening very bad. Next came Eme throwing another pass at her coach and almost hitting him, to which he finally asked her if it was his shirt as to why she was going after him (She had a Florida shirt on and he had a Tennessee one). Eme then proceeds to pass the ball to her teammate through her other coaches legs, much to everyone cheering. Then we ate supper and I turned the lights off on April in the LARGE women's bathroom….she said it was NOT funny. Finally the night ended with us seeing cousin's on both sides and exchanging lots of hugs. Wonder how the games are gonna go on Saturday?

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
