1st off

Well on Friday, we had to wait for the sun to come up for us to leave so we could see the roads. Ele and Eme were excited to leave, so Robert had them go get their shoes on and wait by the door. Big mistake. You NEVER have kids wait like that with nothing to do. We learned years ago with the three of them that this situation does NOT work…the will fight everytime. Well I only could snippets of the conversation when Robert would come tell me in the bathroom as I got ready. One part was when Ele was telling on Eme saying that Eme said something about basketball. Now we all know that Ele can not pronounce things as clearly as Eme, but has an unbelievable vocabulary. Eme will correct Ele on how something is said and Ele will get SO upset and say that Eme doesn't even know the meaning of the word she is correcting…ie…Ele doesn't like her baby sister correcting her. Needless to say Ele tattled on Eme for saying something and Eme pops off with, "First off that is NOT what I said, and….." So a little bit later (Ele can be very patient) Eme was looking out the window at the snow and Ele just taps Eme on the back of the head whapping her head in the glass. Robert got onto them and all I said was….see that's why you don't make them wait!

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
