We had a great Christmas! Like Robert said, Christmas as Granny's (what we call Christmas Eve with Mom's side) was the best ever having everybody together. The love was truly in the air and it meant so much. Yet again the Cuz and I were on the same page….we gave each other frames with pics of us together! Haha! The girls got so much stuff and they especially loved all their gifts, but the scooters from Santa was the biggest hit. Unfortunately they do not bother the hardwoods, so they ride them around the house. I heard a very good quote that made me think….at first I died laughing, then I felt ashamed cause it really was true….."I may not be a great Christian, but I am a great survivalist!" I just keep thinking…..We can do all things thru Christ who strengthens us!

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
