Checks

Had a Mammogram yesterday and have a gynecologist appt today. The oldest Goddaughter (who's 17) said "Yuk, What a week!" and I replied, "Yeah, but I made a lot of people smile this week!".

Praise God we're alive! You may reflect on the bad things at the closing of this year, but remember, God is Glorious, and he gave us another year to live and learn.

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. practice

Well, Eme got slapped last night by accident by a very sweet little girl. I was walking upstairs when I noticed another little girl (who is a head taller than her) patting Eme. Now the story goes that the taller girl has a problem with self confidence. Her Mom says she always has and when we first started practicing she would get upset. I would always try and make a special point to help her. I would tell her about how proud I was and point out the good things she would (sometimes giving her a thumbs up and smiling at her if she would see me on the bleachers), and if she started crying I would try and talk to her and tell her how great she was at what she was doing and tell her she was tuff and I knew she could do it. Now I did this as a parent….I am not one of their coaches, but cannot keep my mouth shut! Haha! Imagine that. Well, at practice she made my night. yesterday and today

First off HAPPY BIRTHDAY late to the Cuz! I can't believe that I didn't say it yesterday! She is being teased that she is a lot older than what she is so just for her Happy 49th Birthday Charla!!! haha! On another note it was Vic's Birthday yesterday as well and I know I blogged that her Dad was doing better, but yesterday morning in his sleep he lost his battle. I know it is true that they are better off, but it is still hard on the family. Please pray for her and Vanna, and the entire family. Aunt Shirley made it to WV to see her Dad who is holding strong.
