Halloween


The girls had a great halloween! Eme was an old timey Princess, Lex was a Vampire, and Ele was a pirate. Everybody talked about how cute Eme was....one time she was running to the car and against the light she looked like a runaway bride. Lex had blood (lipstick) on her mouth, and Ele is doing the "Arrrgh" in this pic, not wiping her nose, like it looks. Of course by the second house we were eating candy. Did the cuz's invites this weekend and not a whole lot else since it was so nasty....and thank God, no fights in Wal-Mart! Hope yall had a great one, and have a great day.....remember it's all in how you look at it.

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
