friends

I have been blessed. I am blessed. I can say I have a lot of friends. Grindad used to say that you have two types of friends in life. Fair weather friends and true friends. The older I get the more I realize that those friends all play such an impact in our lives and they move from one type to another….time and actions are what defines the type. I have never doubted Grindad's definition of the type of friends you have in life. I think when I tell it to the girls though I'm gonna explain it more though. There may be two types, but don't put any labels on that friendship ever. You never truly know which type of friend they may have been until the day you die. You still have your lifetime to revisit old friendships and make new ones. The definition is all relative, and the friends remain in your heart forever.

I want to say a big THANK YOU to all my friends. To those who have stayed with me whether it be in body or in spirit, and to those who are in heaven already. You have meant so much to me and I can never tell you in words how much that has meant to me.

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
