recognition

We helped with the 5th grade recognition tonight. It was amazing to see all of the kids! And to think that Ele and Lex will be doing that in a couple of years! It was an amazing time too because right after that we were in the cafeteria and a ray of sunshine broke thru and shined down. Chanda said that it was Kristen smiling down on her classmates. I thought that was beautiful! God shines down on us, as does our loved ones…are we doing what we would want them to see? Sometimes I really hope they might turn their heads! Haha~! I am thankful for all the blessing that are bestowed on us!

Please pray for Mana! Macy is getting big and wanting to come out (Mana is having contractions)…..they checked her yesterday and Macy is 7lb and 7oz already and she has 3 weeks left to go!

Whew! I'm gonna be a Godmother for the 4th time! Yeah!!!!! I think Robert is more excited than I even am.

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
