first day

Eme had her first day back at school yesterday after being out for a whole week. Robert was overwhelmed as he was standing with Eme and her teacher in the hall talking. He said the little kids started peaking out of the gym, then started coming out to see Eme. Little Miss popular! It made Robert feel so good that all these little kids were concerned about her, and I'm sure Eme also, although she really didn't want to talk with me about it much. She acted like it was no big deal. She wanted to talk about something else more.....she got her Achievement Award for Kindergarten! That means she knows all the things she is supposed to to move on to 1st grade! What a big girl! Please continue to pray for Kristen's family and for Ms. Jo Ann. There are so many sick right now....please pray for them all!

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
