feathers

The girls did feathers at school. They were feathers made out of construction paper with sayings of what the girls were thankful for. Eme said she was thankful for her snails and White Cloud her cat. Ele had three. One was her Grandpa cause he fixed things for her, the second was for God helping her Mom through cancer (which I teared up about....how sweet and meant so much) then... the third which she just told me in bed with Eme on the other side of me is she was thankful for her Dada for protecting her. I of course asked what he protected her from, to which she points to Eme and says, "From her!" We have a lot to be thankful for....I know mine are obvious, but I'm also thankful for all of yall!

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
