months

Eme is getting big. She has been learning about the months of the year in "peeschool". Of course she will be turning 5 this year, but she is still 4 and is my baby, so I am proud. She could say all her months when I was going over them with her, except July and October! Wow! She is smart, but is stubborn, so if she wants to let you know she's smart, she will. Earlier today she was supposed to be cleaning off the couches and she said she had....it was way to fast to be true. I asked her if Dada said they were clean and she said, "He said they were sparkling!" I then asked her, "So, if I go ask him will he tell me they look good?" She then replied, "Maybe I outta go do them again!"

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
