green day

St Patty's day is a day we wear green to keep from getting pinched. We put on our green and the we wait. We wait for someone to not see the green so that we can pinch them. Even as adults we still try and trick people. Has someone tried to trick you today? Would you know if they did? Sometimes peoples motives are not known to everyone. Honestly though, what does it matter? We think that if we know we can protect ourselves. We cannot. If we continue to try and not give that problem up to God it can eat away at us more and more. Wake Up! Give it up to God today, or you're just pinching yourself.

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
