cell phone

OK. Before 2006 Christmas I dropped my cell phone in the toilet at work. Well, I know what I'm getting for Valentine's Day. Yep, but this time it wasn't the toilet. I left it in the jacket I wore Saturday, and Robert washed it. Sometimes things just don't go the way you think. You want to say , "That's just my luck"....DON'T. We we're leaving the vet Saturday, Ele pointed at a house near by and said, "Momma, those people are blessed, cause if their dog gets sick, they're near the vet." We need to look at life more like that. The positive and the negative can be looked at as blessings, it's all in how we phrase it. The more positive we look, and speak, the more positive we will feel, as will those around us.

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
