play with

Saturday the girls were bundled up playing outside. I was coming in and out of the house, Momma was sitting on the back porch, and Robert and Daddy were covering the pool. As usual Eme was wagging around the cats. Ele was just standing there at this point, and she hollars out, "Momma I need someone to play with!" I wasn't thinking and just shot from the hip with my mouth, replying "Play with your sister that's what I had her for!" Robert said it was " RrrEeeDdd-Neck!". When Uncle Jerry called he asked what I had Ele for and I said, "To take care of me when I'm old." Kids....they keep us hoppin!

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
