weekend

We had a great weekend. We did NOTHING! We went to Church today, Dollar General, and came home, that was it. We were gonna go swimming tonight, and I got stung by a wasp, so I'm Benadryled up now. My most exciting thing was getting a new toothbrush! I have been using a kids Dinosaur one for a week, which takes twice as long because it is so small! Isn't it great to have the little things in life. We truly are blessed! Oh...Ele did it again. She came running thru the house to the bathroom, and about the time I started to open my mouth to get onto her for running, I hear the toilet seat and a,"Whew I'm blessed"...which was proceeded by a "Ahhhh!" She had to go pee, and barely made it! haha! Think about how blessed you are with the little things...like not peeing in your pants!

A girl I work with's daughter was in the Mexican resturant eating when she felt something lick and nibble her foot. She looked under the table and saw...yep you guessed it....a mouse. She screams, kicks the mouse and looks and the mouse can't run...she's broke it's leg. So the waiters got the mouse, and she got her meal for free, but she couldn't eat it! haha! Moral of the story. strength

Some days we don't feel as though we have the strength to do much of anything.  To get up, to eat, to not eat, to fight the daily battle of traffic, work, or relationships....why?  Mainly because we lose our confidence.  Our confidence in the ability to "handle" things.  Remember the verse: "I  can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phillipians 4:13.    We have talked before about how we are not alone, but we have not discussed how the devil attacks our confidence in the ability to achieve.  The ability that when we are doing what the Lord wants we can accomplish it through Him...not alone.  Repeatedly through the Bible God says that he will not forsaken us for he is with us.  If you have a doubt about something, first is it something that God wishes, second if it is then know that the devil is in play...including the attempted breakdown of your inner strength.  After you realize that keep telling yourself that God is with you and you have the
