My Wild Child

"Wild Child." by Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter is a great video that made me so want to cry.  We have always called Eme Wild Child because of her personality even as a baby, so much like Grindad....that or as she got older sometimes Fairy. Near the end of the video a woman says something that made me so want to cry and I dug throught the internet to find it.  It is you my baby....MY WILD CHILD: "You were born to dance to the beat of your own heart To roam without cages with the innocence of a child and the free spirit of untamed horses. I hope you laugh without stopping, live with abandon, and Love like it's all there is. Stay wild, my wild, wild child."

Cleaner

A lot of people have asked me for my Aunt Peggy's siding cleaner, which MELTS the dirt and mold off a house, then you just rinse with a garden hose.  Here it is: HOUSE CLEANER BLEACH – 1 GAL OR 128 OZ SIMPLE GREEN – 1 QT OR 32 OZ ALOCHOL – 1 PINT OR 16 OZ

Alzh motto

This verse is sooooo the epidemy of Alzheimers.  A great motto for caregivers and anyone affected.  We love you! 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 () 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. God Blesses!

Easier

Somedays are harder than others, some easier, but with all our days are blessed.  Let us all strive to be a blessing to others for God works through us as much as he works for us. God Blesses

Growin up

The girls are growing up.  Ele had her frist day of high school and Eme her first day of middle school.  Wow....I keep saying I am blessed to see it, but as I look at them I feel it in my heart so much. GOD BLESSES!

Today

Well today we registered two high schoolers and a middle schooler!  Numerous people asked if I was gonna cry.  I hadnt given it a lot of thought...then it hit me.  No.  I just said I was sick when the two started kindergarten, so Im just thankful to be here.  Honestly, now that I think about it.  The day I registered them was the day we were told it was malignant.  The first person I told in person, theirs and my kindergarten teacher.  We held each other in the hall and cried.  Tonight was the first year we havent went to register at North Sumner in a decade.  The first time Eme strutted in East claiming it as her own.  The first time Lex and Ele started high school as freshman, knowing the next school they start will probably be the only time they will not start one together...college.  Now that made me tear-up, but as my Grandmother said, "We will cross that bridge when we get there."  We are truly blessed! God Blesse...

Today

Today I will live my life as God would want.  Today I will LIVE, not looking back on yesterday, nor forward on tomorrow, for God has promised me today.

Angels

You just never know. God shows himself in the strangest way sometimes.  Do we require to recognize it before we act?  Thank God he doesn't do the same with us! God Blesses! Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:1-2

Cancer Prayer

I wrote this tonight and feel led to share it so it may help others.  When it comes to cancer I may pray differently. My prayers feel like a tornado of attacking memories. The wind is whipping across my bare scalp, tearing tubes from my ports, burning across my dry, cracked, irritated skin to shoot into my body causing my bones to feel as though they are shattering from the inside out.....to calm down to healing peacefulness... The MIRACLE of Gods healing touch be upon you!   Everyone has their own trials and tribulations, but cancer is one that will break you before you knew you were broken. Know that we may not know Gods plan, but we do know that we do not walk alone for our family and friends are there with us, taking each step, as God carries us in his loving arms.  Also, to whom I originally wrote this... I love you. NEVER STOP FIGHTING!

Time passes by

Time passes by, pain fades, memories last, and faith, hope and love conquer all. 8 years ago today I started a chemo journey.  Thank all of you for the prayers that made me proof miracles happen.

I'm baaaaaaccccccck!

I thought for my first posting in almost 10 months....oh my.  I would send My Biggest fans a few pics to cheer their day.  Love you Aunt Shirley and Uncle Jerry! !

Quotes I love

You can't fix stupid, but you can numb it with a 2x4. When I want your opinion I'll remove the duct tape. Don't judge me because I'm quiet.  Noone plans a murder outloud. That which doesn't kill me had better run pretty darn fast. God Blesses!

GROW

We are given our lives as seeds.  We can help them grow.  Prune them to much. Stunt them for a while.  Allow a neighborhood dog pee on them.  Have people tend them.  Care for them, show grace and love.  Some have a better touch at it than others, and sometimes our lives grow into beautiful flowers and fruit.  Water them with the wornderful Word of God.  How wonderful for our lives to become a blessing of beauty for others.  Be a wonderful scent for ourselves, something to be proud of....like Sara Walker.  A beautiful blessing to so many.  We were so blessed to have you on earth, through your words you have helped me to heal. Thank you more than you will ever know. You won the battle.  Gods grace of comfort to your family and friends, for their rays of sunshine may have dimmed today, but your legacy will keep them warm and shine forever. God Blesses! One of my fav Sara moments.... http://www.savoringtheday.com...

Road Map

I have been lax in posting.  I apologize. Mainly because I have been trying to get my self in order.  I neglected the most important things in life because I did not focus on my health.  I let the world direct my focus.  There are many days that I forget I am a miracle...even with my nose ring reminder.  Lately my health was on the back burner (mental and physical).  To give credit though...physical wise I have been trying, but it has been trial and error since there is not much of a road map for my present health.  NOT ANYMORE.  I am taking control...and giving it over to GOD. My roadmap...whatever God has planned. I kept putting it off...doing what I hear God telling me.  I WILL let God lead the dance of my life. I kept thinking just to make it through the day then I would start tomorrow.  We are NOT promised tomorrow....I have wrote the date many times today, but not realized the date.  I heard the song, "Tough"...the verse ...

Rainbows

Last night Eme asked Ele what she had gotten her for her birthday.  Ele replied something colorful.  Eme immediately bursts out with excited sincerity, "you got me a rainbow!" God Blesses!

Courage

Courageous is the person who goes ahead knowing there is real risk to themselves after being able to assess the risk. Brave is the person who goes ahead without giving thought to the risk. Bravery and Stupidity can be a fine line..... God Blesses!

And another diuble!

Mommas

Happy Mothers Day.  To those who have held us, loved us, prayed for us, watched us die, cheered us as we live, ran errands for us, stayed up late for us, took us to appts, and never stopped doing any of it.....thank you.  You didn't have to, but yet you did,  and whether you gave birth to us or not we can call you Momma.  We are the lucky ones for the lessons you taught us we are blessed to hand down. To those we cried over, whooped (even in Wal-Mart), held, kissed on the eyelids, nodded agreement to (even though we didnt know what we were agreeing to), nagged, ran places, faught for, and did all the other  things we were taught through love to do, thank you babies. Also, to all the little ones most call pets, thank you for all of the former as well, you were our training wheels for it all. I love all of yall and God Blesses!

Focus

As I've struggled to swim through life lately I have been oblivious to many things.  It is very hard to pay attention to what God is telling you when you have absorbed so many feelings that your sponge can hold no more.  You barrel through..chin down, forehead forward, one foot in front of the other...telling yourself that if I can just focus on getting where Im going....I can make it.   Until yesterday I hadnt realized the true problem.  My focus.  Slowly and gradually the devil has invaded my life, breaking down all of the things I hold dear, weaking me, destroying me.....making it my focus.  This weekend many things happened leading up to the accumulation of me opening my ears to allow me to hear again.  I hear you God...Through an anonymous angel, I found a gift in "my seat" in church: a framed saying. I reread it over and over...you see the devil had been beating on me so much that he slowly changed the focus in my life from being Go...

Another homer!!! #2
